Debra Lee McCann

Debra Lee Debbie [Gibler] McCann 67 years old passed away on Wednesday January 24, 2024 at Mountain Side Medical Center after a long illness. Debbie as she was known to her family, friends, and coworkers was Born on July 23, 1956 in East Orange, NJ and resided in Belleville, NJ her entire life.

Debbie was a 1974 graduate of Belleville High School where she met the love of her life the late John McCann who she married on March 21, 1987.

Debbie was employed as a lunch aide at Belleville Elementary School # 9, and also was a home maker.

She loved playing video games, poker, watching scary movies, and one of Debbie’s favorite past times was scaring you.

Debbie is survived by her Loving son Jonathan McCann. She was predeceased in death by her parents Richard Gibler, Phyllis [Morrell] Arthur, and her brother Mark Gibler. Surviving are numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, along with many Friends.

As requested by family there will be no viewing or services. A memorial celebration of Debbie’s life may be held at a later date.

Family requests donations be made in Debbie McCann’s name to the American Diabetes Association.
