With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved soul, Hugo Ubaldo Guerrero-Coello, who was born in Vinces, Ecuador. His life was a beacon of joy and love, and his departure leaves behind cherished memories and an enduring legacy. Hugo left this world, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy that will forever endure. Hugo is survived by his two beloved daughters, each of whom held a special place in his heart; Jessica Guerrero sand her spouse William Velez, Daisey Guerrero and her spouse Charles B. Salcedo.
Hugo's love extended beyond his immediate family, as he also leaves behind a remarkable legacy of grandchildren who were privileged to know and be loved by him. (List as oldest to youngest) William Velez, Julian Velez, Alize' Coris, Nathaniel Coris, Khalel Velez, Kenneth Coris, Yessina Velez, Angelina Salcedo, Mikaylah Salcedo, Miyahlee Salcedo and, Legend Salcedo. Hugo was blessed with a great-grandson Koby Coris.
Hugo Ubaldo Guerrero-Coello was not just a loving father but an amazing one. His boundless love, generosity, and warmth touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Those who were blessed to know him understand that he had a big heart and an amazing soul that he shared unconditionally. He was a faithful member of Saint Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church where he attended Mass every Sunday.
In his memory, let us hold onto the love and kindness he showed us and continue to pass it on to others, just as he did throughout his remarkable life. Hugo's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to be a part of his life.
May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with his son Hugo Cesar Guerrero.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on September 28, 2023 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. Funeral Mass to follow the next morning at 11:00AM on September 29, 2023 at St. Stephen's Church in Kearny, NJ.
