Karen A Kuhn

Karen A. (Palmer) Kuhn passed away Friday February 16, 2024 at the age of 74.

Born January 2nd, 1950, Karen grew up in East Newark, NJ and was a graduate of Harrison High School in 1967.  She later moved to and was a long-time resident in Kearny, NJ, where she lived and raised her family.

Karen spent her career as a Registered Nurse, receiving her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University Newark and her Nursing degree from Middlesex County College, both of which she graduated with honors.

In her lifetime, Karen enjoyed local and international travel, skiing, Hallmark movies, dark chocolate, and spending time with her family and loved ones.

Karen is pre-deceased by her parents Raymond J. Palmer and Anna (Klucewicz) Palmer of East Newark, NJ.  

She is survived by her children Melissa Rivera and husband Frank, and son Peter Kuhn Jr. and wife Chante’.  Her sisters Roberta Burzynski and husband Joe, and Marilyn Bodossian and husband Leo.  Her grandchildren Ryan and Chloe Rivera and beloved nephew and nieces, Matthew, Kristen, and Jessica.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday, February 22nd, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral, Friday February 23rd, at 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  

Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, in North Arlington, NJ, at 10:30 a.m.
